Stitchers Choice Exchange

Through my ASOE group I joined a Stitchers Choice exchange, I was paired with Alison. First up I stitched Alison a small quaker design I had in my stash, a freebie design from not sure where, I just thought it fit in with her likes. I stitched it using 28ct cream evenweave and used a medium/dark blue dmc, my choice of finish was a pinkeep. It turns out to be Alison's first pinkeep.

Then today I received my piece from Alison, she chose the design Quaker Tree Third which is a freebie on The Workbasket site, it is stitched on sparkly evenweave with silk thread and it has a lovely fancy L on the back and a cute scissor charm. Thank you Alison, I love it!!

Until next time, happy stitching

Sale or Trade items - **EDITED**

I have just made a new album in my Webshots of some charts I have for sale or trade. The link is in my sidebar above my wishlist link. I am willing to trade anything in my wishlist for my sale items or if you have anything that is in my Likes column in the sidebar as a trade, just email me with the chart names to see whether I already have them or not, doesn't hurt to try.
I take Paypal, just email me with your location for postage costs. For my email just view my profile and my email is listed in there, or leave a comment here and I will contact you.
**Edited** to mention that prices are in Australian dollars, so you will need to convert to your own countries value to work out full costs, I use a Go Convert site to work out the dollar difference when I purchase from US or UK.
Happy Stitching

Summer House for Faye

I heard from Faye this morning that she has received the HOE Summer House piece I sent. I stitched LHN's Summer House and made it into a small hanging pillow, using small rosette's in the corners.

I am currently deciding between two patterns for the Blackbird exchange, which is my next exchange commitment, decisions, decisions....
Until next time, happy stitching

Delightful Summer House

Today I received my HOE Summer House from Jayne N, and what a beauty it is. The design was taken from Country Cottage Needleworks "Home Sweet Home" and finished as a lovely needle case. Jayne mentioned that she stitched it whilst on holiday in France and that it is now a very well travelled piece.
I love it very much Jayne, thank you.

My partner should be receiving my exchange within the next few days hopefully.

Until next time, happy stitching.

A Gift Received

Yesterday I received a parcel from my good friend Jody, it was a belated birthday gift for me. Inside was this rather cute wallhanging of a floppy eared bunny. I havent seen one finished this way before, it has a solid piece of board behind the design and the top of the fabric has some eyelets at the top that she has threaded ribbon through and tied little bows to make the hanger. Very interesting! My extra goodies included some beauties:- gorgeous hand dyed linen, a wonderful cut of fabric with sea shells, 2 hand dyed flossies, dmc and beads, just look at the lovely autumn colours, I love it all, thank you soo much my dear friend.
I have been super busy stitching away but a lot of it is for exchanges and also a certain dear friend of mine is having a big birthday this year and I am making some extra special goodies for her aswell.

Here is another recent finish of mine, I decided to make this LHN design into a small pillow ornie.
Until next time, happy stitching
